DECATUR, AL – Alvin M. Daily, 92, died Tuesday, April 4, 2023 at his residence. He was born in Tishomingo County, MS to Columbus and Addie Ham Daily. He retired as a salesman from Southern Dou-Fast. He was a member of Decatur Baptist Church and a Gideon. He was a veteran of the US Air Force serving six years with one year in the Korean War.
Funeral services will be Saturday, April 8, 2 p.m. at Deaton Funeral Home Chapel, Red Bay, AL with Benny Sivley officiating. Burial will be in Red Bay City Cemetery. Deaton Funeral Home, Red Bay, AL will be in charge of arrangements.
He is survived by his daughter, Nancy Daily; granddaughter, Ryley Daily and one sister, Reecie Moss.
He was preceded in death by his wife Reva Daily on March 15, 2023; his parents; two brothers, Travis Daily and Aaron Daily and one sister, Marie Nabb.
Pallbearers will be Mike Lawrence, Benny Sivley, Ryley Daily, Nancy Daily and Eddie Holland.
Visitation will be Saturday, April 8, 12-2 at Deaton Funeral Home, Red Bay, AL.
