RED BAY, AL – Peggie Hastings Miller, 82, passed away Thursday, March 30, 2023 at her residence. She was born in Red Bay, Al. to William and Florence Bragg Hastings. She was a member of Christian Assembly of God Church. She worked as a Inspector for Wrangler Manufacturing for 15 years.
Funeral services will be Monday, April 3, 2 p.m. at Deaton Funeral Home Chapel, Red Bay, AL with Bro. Jackie Hastings officiating. Burial will be in Hillcrest Memorial Gardens, Red Bay, AL. Deaton Funeral Home, Red Bay, AL will be in charge of arrangements.
She is survived by her son- Kenneth Miller, a daughter- Gwendolyn Miller, 2- Daughter –in- laws- Melanie Miller and Katherine Miller, 12- Grandchildren and 9 – great grandchildren, 2- sisters- Sue Smith and Betty Hastings, 3- Brothers- Jackie Hastings (Patsy), Jerry Hastings (Leann), Jimmy Hastings..
She was preceded in death by her parents; her husband- Jimmy Miller Sr., son- Jimmy Miller Jr., sisters- Jeanette Graham, Sharon West, Brother- Ronnie Hastings .
Pallbearers will be Zachary Miller, Nathan Miller, Travis Wilson, Gabriel Miller, Tucker Conwill, Cooper Wilson. Honorary pallbearers will be Colin Miller, Nicholas Miller, Kray Jones, Briley Jones.Visitation will be Monday, April 3, 12-2 p.m. at Deaton Funeral Home, Red Bay, AL
