RED BAY, AL – Kenneth Wayne Boyd, 58, passed away Friday, March 10, 2023 at his residence. He was born in Red Bay, Al to Marvin Ray and Maxine Scott Boyd. He had worked as an auto mechanic for over 15 years.
Private family services will be held at a later date with Wayne Bridges and Alabama Hospice of the Shoals Chaplain, Richard Parker. Burial will be in New Bethel Cemetery. Deaton Funeral Home, Red Bay, AL assisted the family.
He is survived by his wife, Lisa Jackson Boyd; children, Destiny Boyd Bishop (Keith), Christopher Boyd (Jessica), September Birmingham (Micheal D. Moore), Rocky Jackson (Kandi), Jesse Jackson (Abreal), and Dillon Jackson (Pamela); two foster daughters, Connie Rojas (TD Prather), Mellissa Lynn one brother, Billy Ray Boyd; three sisters, Brenda Boyd, Christy Luttrell and Mildred Jackson; mother-in-law, Myrtle Vinson; father-in-law, Charles Vinson; twenty grandchildren; one great-grandchild and a host of nieces, nephews, great-nieces and great-nephews.
He was preceded in death by his parents and one foster son, Jerry Wayne White.
Honorary pallbearers will be Rocky Jackson, Chris Boyd, Jesse Jackson, Dillon Jackson, Keith Bishop, Trent Mayhall, Johnny Mayhall, Micheal Moore, Ricky Vinson and Billy Boyd.
