RED BAY, AL – Christy Leigh Hellums, 53 passed away Saturday, March 4, 2023, at North Alabama Medical Center, Florence. She worked at Tiffin doors for eight years.
Visitation will be Wednesday, March 8, 2-4 p.m. at Deaton Funeral Home, Red Bay. Funeral services will be at 4 p.m. at Deaton Funeral Home Chapel with Bro. Marshall Emerson officiating. Burial will be in Red Bay City Cemetery. Deaton Funeral Home, Red Bay, will be in charge of arrangements.
She is survived by her daughter – Kaleigh Ergle; three grandchildren – Brantley Mobley, Realeigh Ergle, Emma Ergle; her mother – Sandra Hellums (Wally); two brothers – Robin and Scott Pettey; two nieces – Emily Payne (Jamey), Tiffany Wooten (Cory); one nephew – Skylar Pettey.
She was preceded in death by her father, Robert Pettey.
Pallbearers will be Keith Reese, David Lancaster, Skylar Pettey, Tony Workman, Jamey Payne, Ed Harden.
