GOLDEN, MS – Jean Hargett Malone, 96, passed away Tuesday, January 24, 2023 at Southern Magnolia in Golden, MS. She was born in Golden, MS to Bryan and Odie Patterson Hargett. She was a homemaker and member of First Baptist Church in Belmont, MS.
Funeral services will be Thursday, January 26, 1 p.m. at Deaton Funeral Home Chapel, Belmont, MS with Bro. Ray Burks officiating. Burial will be in Lindsey Cemetery. Deaton Funeral Home, Belmont, MS will be in charge of arrangements.
She is survived by her son, Stan Malone (Rhonda) and her daughter, Jeanece Pearson (Terrell); her grandchildren, Bryan Malone, Marlee Malone and Dana Malone and her sister, Joyce Payne.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Reece Malone; her parents and one brother, Herbert Hargett.
Pallbearers will be Terrell Pearson, Joey Payne, Scotty Payne and Bryan Malone.
Visitation will be Thursday, January 26, 11-1 at Deaton Funeral Home, Belmont, MS.
