RED BAY, AL – Dicky Alan Tedford, 66, passed away Sunday, January 22, 2023 at North Alabama Specialty Hospital in Athens, AL. He was born in Mississippi to Lindzey Dick and Lois Sims Tedford. He worked at Sunshine Homes for many years and was a member of Burleson Masonic Lodge # 143.
Graveside services will be Friday, January 27, 11 a.m. at Red Bay City Cemetery with Geral Gillentine officiating. Burial will be in Red Bay City Cemetery. Deaton Funeral Home, Red Bay, AL will be in charge of arrangements.
He is survived by his wife, Audria Tedford; sons, Patrick Tedford, Mark Tedford (Courtney) and Charlie McGee; daughters, Julie Maxwell, Alana Tedford and Emily Austin; grandchildren, Payton Maxwell, Whitley Fowler, Michael Fowler, Isabella Fowler, Carley Tedford, Aislynn Tedford, Nevaeh Tedford, Jaxton Tedford, Hunter Pounds, Mason Tedford, Drew Mitchell, Carmen McGee, Brianna Kelly, Ethan McGee, Trinity Strickland (Joe), Mackenzie Austin, Sawyer Humphries and Colin Humphries and five great-grandchildren, Taylor Dawson, Raeleigh Dawson, Amari Stanback, Anthony Stanback and Hazel Phillips.
He was preceded in death by his parents; daughter, Jessica Gandy and sister, Cheryl Tedford.
Visitation will be Thursday, January 26, 5-8 p.m. at Deaton Funeral Home, Red Bay, AL.
