Faye Ewing, age 86, of Belmont, Miss., passed away Tuesday, January 3, 2023. Essie Faye Adair was born on March 4, 1936 to Callie Adair in Haleyville, AL. Faye was a loving wife, mother, and grandmother. She always enjoyed time with her family and friends. Faye spent countless hours watching her favorite western and action shows which included Bonanza and Walker, Texas Ranger.
Faye is survived by her husband, Harvey Ewing; Sons: Bryan (Darlene) Simmons and Brett (Ann) Simmons, stepchildren Donnie Ewing (Vicki) and Kim Aldridge; granddaughters: Amy Simmons (Jeff), Anna Simmons, Ashley Misischis (Nick), and Nicole Ewing; grandsons: Austin Simmons (Christiana), Colton Simmons, Jason Karam (Jessica), Jonathan
Padgett, Dylan Ewing, Justen Ewing, and James Ewing; great grandchildren: Aidan, Jefferson, AJ, Skylar, and Maci.
A memorial service will be held on Saturday, January 14, 2023, 2:00 p.m. at Pinkard Funeral Home, Haleyville. There will be a visitation prior to the service from 1:30 p.m. until time of service. Reverend John Wood will be officiating.
