RED BAY, AL – Joyce Nadean Ginn, 80, passed away Saturday, December 31, 2022 at the Red Bay Hospital.  She was born in Golden, MS to Jewel and Rossie Bell Carden Whitehead.  She was retired as a custodian from Red Bay School. She was a member of Patterson Chapel Church of God.

Funeral services will be Wednesday, January 4, 3 p.m. at Deaton Funeral Home Chapel, Red Bay, AL with Bro. Walter Sparks officiating.  Burial will be in Ridge Cemetery.  Deaton Funeral Home, Red Bay, AL will be in charge of arrangements.

She is survived by her husband, Doyle Ginn; one son, Chris Ginn (Renea); two daughters, Connie Holt (Gary) and Joyce Adair; three granddaughters, Ashley Day (Errin), Amber Hardin (Colt) and Alisha Miller (Kevin); three great-grandchildren, Avery and Ellie Day and Asher Hardin; two brothers, Lonnie Ray Whitehead (Frances) and William Lee Whitehead; one sister, Janet Ledlow; two step-granddaughters, Tiffany and Brooklyn Holt; two step-grandsons, River and Maddox and a host of nieces and nephews.

She is preceded in death by her father, Jewel Whitehead; mother, Rossie Bell Whitehead; three brothers, Leroy Whitehead, David Paul Whitehead and Mike Royce Whitehead; one sister, Ann Credille and one son-in-law, Tommy Adair.

Pallbearers will be Errin Day, Colt Hardin, Kevin Miller, Frankie Whitehead, Andy Deaton, Daniel Credille and Billy Boyd.Visitation will be Tuesday, January 3, 6-9 p.m. at Deaton Funeral Home, Red Bay, AL.
