GOLDEN – Larry Gene Hammock, 81, died on Sunday, June 26, 2022, at his residence. He was employed at Laroche Industries in Cherokee, AL for 44 years. He was also a member of Community Center Baptist Church in Red Bay, AL.

He is survived by his wife, Barbara Hammock of Golden, MS; his sons, Todd Hammock (Delaina) of McKinney, TX and Terry Hammock of Gulf Shores, AL; his sisters, Dale Rushing of Iuka, MS and Cindy Fountain of Gulf Shores, AL; his grandchildren, Kathryn Hammock and Karoline Hammock of Ocean Springs, MS; two nephews, Brian Rushing and Robert Walker; and one niece, Desiree Walker.

He was preceded in death by his parents, Carrie Eugene and Thelma Hindman Hammock.

Cutshall Funeral Home of Iuka, MS is entrusted with the arrangements. A memorial service is scheduled for Thursday, June 30, 2022 at 2 p.m. at Golden Chapel United Methodist Church, officiated by Bro. Roger Wood. Visitation will take place one hour prior to service time. An online guestbook may be accessed at www.cutshallfuneralhome.com.
