Updated at 4 p.m. with new information on what was stolen.

RED BAY | Police are investigating an early-morning robbery on Wednesday at Red Bay Quik Stop.

At approximately 3:15 a.m., three individuals entered the Chevron gas station on Fourth Avenue SE in Red Bay. According to Red Bay Police Chief Janna Jackson, the suspects were wearing backpacks and went behind the counter to steal a large amount of vapes. The clerk was not threatened, and the incident appears to be a grab-and-run incident.

Video surveillance shows the suspects wearing hoodies and head coverings or masks.

Anyone with information that may lead to the arrests of the suspects is urged to contact the Red Bay Police Department at 256-356-4455.
