GOLDEN, MS – Charles Edward Gann, 80, passed away Friday, February 12, 2021 at his residence. He was born in Belgreen, AL and was a truck driver.
Funeral services will be Sunday, February 14, 1 p.m. at Deaton Funeral Home Chapel Red Bay, AL with Rev. Kevin Palmer officiating. Burial will be in Belgreen Cemetery. Deaton Funeral Home, Red Bay, AL will be in charge of arrangements.
He is survived by three children-Tony Gann (Kim), Sandy Forshey (Matt) and Lonnie Gann; fourteen grandchildren; twenty-three great-grandchildren; his mother Mae Gann; four brothers-Leroy Gann (Brenda), Terry Gann (Gail), Michael Palmer and Phillip Palmer (Kathy); three sisters-Brenda Reese (Steve), Sandra Palmer (Carl) and Nancy Riddle (Larry Elrod Jr.) and a host of nieces and nephews.
He was preceded in death by his wife-Glenda Gann; his father Eules Gann; his mother-Pearlie Gann; two sisters-Betty Barnett and Shirley Patterson and one brother-Johnny Gann.
Pallbearers will be Eric Forshey, Casey Freemon, Brandon Gann, Zack Gann, Chris Gann, Trey Gann and Michael Constant.
Visitation will be Sunday, February 14, 11-1 at Deaton Funeral Home, Red Bay, AL.
