RED BAY, AL – Brother Timothy D. Humphres, 55, met his Savior on Tuesday, December 22, 2020. He was born on May 6, 1965 in Waukegan, IL. On January 24, 2010, at the age of 45, he accepted the Lord as his Savior. Shortly after, he became a pastor at Bethel Church of God, but he stepped down when he was diagnosed with pancreatic cancer in 2018. He attended Cornerstone Church of God in Red Bay, Alabama. He was a true man of God, loved and respected by the church and community, and everyone he met was going to hear about Jesus. He worked as a foreman at Wood Industries.
Services will be Saturday, December 26, 2 p.m. at Cornerstone Church of God, Red Bay, AL with Bro. Ben Young, Bro. Rick Bradley and Patrick Brooks officiating. Burial will be in Ebenezer Cemetery, Vina, AL. Deaton Funeral Home, Red Bay, AL will be in charge of arrangements.
He is survived by his wife – Tammy Humphres; daughters – Brandy and Erica Humphres; his mother – Wilma Faye Humphres; a sister – Teiah Roberts and her family
(husband Joe and children Adam, Brody and Cayden) and many other beloved family and friends.
He was preceded in death by his father, R.C. Humphres; his grandmother, Idell Baker and grandfather, Elbert Barker.
Pallbearers will be Mark Hardin, Brody Roberts, Terry Underwood, Ricky Hopkins, Jeff Wood and James Evetts.Visitation will be Saturday, December 26, 12-2 p.m. at Cornerstone Church of God.
