GOLDEN, MS – Richard Alton “Ricky” Hogan Jr., 50, died Friday, December 18, 2020 at North Ms. Medical Center, Tupelo, MS. He was born in Augusta, GA. and worked as a Carpet installer for 35 years. He was a minister in Church of God.
Services will be Tuesday, December 22, 1:30 p.m. at Belmont City Cemetery with Bro. Scotty Young officiating. Burial will be in Belmont City Cemetery, Belmont, MS. Deaton Funeral Home, Red Bay, Al. will be in charge of arrangements.
He is survived by his wife- Meredith Hogan, a daughter- Whitney Hutcheson and her husband Corey, 4- Sons- Shawn Hogan and his wife Kaitlin, Corey Hogan and his wife Katlyn, Alec Hogan, Matthew Hogan, 4- Grandchildren- Aiden and Wyatt Hutcheson, Andrew and Evelyn Hogan, Parents- Richard Hogan Sr. and Annette Hogan, 2- Brothers- Stacy Hogan (Jennifer), Michael Hogan (Misty), 1- sister- Elizabeth Newman (Rusty), 6- Nephews- Gabriel, Eli, Timothy, Tyler, Grady and Levi Hogan, 3- Nieces- Hannah, Jessica and Zoe Hogan. Father-law- Rex Leitner, Mother-in-law- Suzanne Leitner, Brother-in-law- Eric Leitner.
Pallbearers will be Shawn Hogan, Corey Hutcheson, Rusty Newman, Grady Newman, Gabriel Hogan, Eli Hogan.
Visitation will be Tuesday, December 22, 11 am- 1 p.m. at Deaton Funeral Home, Red Bay, AL.
