VINA, AL – Roy Houston Brown, 75, died Tuesday, December 8, 2020 at Baptist Memorial Hospital, Columbus, MS. He was born in Moulton, AL and was a truck driver.
Services will be Saturday, December 12, 11 a.m. at Deaton Funeral Home Chapel, Red Bay, AL with Bro. Andy Barnett officiating. Deaton Funeral Home, Red Bay, AL will be in charge of arrangements.
He is survived by three children – Loretta Higginbottom (Robert Bradley), Alvin Brown (Bridget Bridges) and Michelle Brown; nine grandchildren – Anna, Michael D., Tristan, Austin, Michael “Mike” B., Jeanie, Matthew, Brad and Kayla; twelve great-grandchildren – Aiden, Elaine, Aubree, Kelly, Ryan, Madelyn, Alexis, Braxton, Bentley, Noah, Camine and Edward; one brother – Raymond Brown; two sisters – Olene Moore (James) and Peggy Ford (Jimmy) and mother of his children – Martha Parker.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Joe and Dosamay Letson Brown, two sons, Martin and Hubert Brown, a grandson, Kyle Parrish, one sister, Opal Brown and two brothers, Billy Joe Brown and Daule Brown.
Visitation will be Friday, December 11, 5-8 p.m. at Deaton Funeral Home, Red Bay, AL.
