Cephus Noble, Jr.


VINA, AL – Cephus “Junior” Noble, Jr., 78, died Wednesday, July 22, 2020 at North Ms. Medical Center, Tupelo, MS. He was born in Kentucky to Cephus and Ida Turner Noble, Sr. He was retired as a D.C. police officer after twenty years and was a member of Fraternal Order of Police.  He served in the U.S Marines for four years. He is now reunited with his wife of fifty-two years, Mary Ann, who was the love of his life.

Graveside services will be Sunday, July 26, 2 p.m. at Baggett Cemetery, Vina, AL with Bro. Jerry Edgil officiating. Burial will be in Baggett Cemetery. Deaton Funeral Home, Red Bay, AL will be in charge of arrangements.

He is survived by two sons – Cephus Noble III (Cheryl) and Joseph Noble; six grandchildren – Ashley Marie Noble, Joseph Scott Noble, Jr., Michele Anne Noble, Cephus Noble IV (Rebecca), Michael Ryan Noble and Chaney Semola; one sister – Jacqueline Noble Davidson (Bud) and three great-grandchildren – DaKotah Noble, Jesiah Noble and Cullen Noble.

He was preceded in death by his wife, parents, Cephus and Ida Turner Noble, Sr., two brothers, Joe Noble and James Noble and a sister, Betty Ann Bailey. Visitation will be Saturday, July 25, 5-8 p.m. at Deaton Funeral Home, Red Bay, AL.
