GOLDEN, MS – Juanita Jo Davis, 84, passed away Friday, May 15, 2020 at her home. She was born in Birmingham, AL to Luther B. and Ludie Ann Cox Wilson. She was Vice President at Colonel Bank in Red Bay and manager at Valley State Bank. She was a member of Calvary Baptist Church.
Graveside services will be Sunday, May 17, 11 a.m. at Red Bay City Cemetery with Bro. Larry Hill officiating. Deaton Funeral Home, Red Bay, AL will be in charge of arrangements.
She is survived by two daughters-Sheree Ann Humphries, Madison, AL; Sandi Johnston Grissom (Steve) of Fulton, MS; four grandchildren-Ashleigh Heather Richardson (Ryan), Zachary Hight Humphries (Melinda), Jodi Johnston Reed (Pat Jr.) and Jake Johnston (Haley); eight great-grandchildren-Skylar Reed, Tucker Thorn, Brodie Humphries, Brylee-Grace Reed, Isaiah Hight Humphries, Elijah Davis Humphries, Christopher Lee Richardson and Madison Jo-Leigh Richardson; two sisters-in-law-Jean Hardin and Hazel Thomas (Owen) and numerous nieces and nephews.
She was preceded in death by her husband-Floyd “Red” Davis; her parents and two sons-in-law-Ricky Hight Humphries and David Lee Johnston.
Pallbearers will be Jake Johnston, Tucker Thorn, Brodie Humphries, Pat Reed, Jr. and Ryan Richardson.
