Have a classic automobile, custom car, truck or RV or just a great ride you’re proud of? Show it off in “Wheels 2020,” coming to The Red Bay News in the March 25 edition.
Area residents are invited to submit photos and details on their cars, trucks or motorcycles and what makes them special, or to let The Red Bay News take photos of their ride and tell their story. There is no charge for reader submissions or “reader rides,” and we invite anyone wanting to share their vehicles to give us a call or email.
The deadline to submit your entry is Friday, March 20, 2020.
“There are a lot of folks around the area who are car buffs, and we want to feature stories on their vehicles and what makes them special,” News Publisher Jason Collum said. “The cars and their drivers and owners we want to feature include old cars, new cars and anything in between, but especially those that have had a little work put into them to make them stand out or bring them to their past glory.”
Another focus this year will also be those cars we’ve spotted around the area that have been retired and possibly put out to pasture. Such scenes can often lead one to wonder what stories the vehicle could tell if it could. If you’ve got such a vehicle –if it’s in a barn, in a field or in the trees, let us know. We’d love to feature it and get the details on it.
The section will also include listings and information on area auto sales and service business. Be sure to make sure your name or business is displayed in this keepsake edition where readers will notice.
