VINA, AL – Cecil Clark Evans, 80, died Tuesday, February 25, 2020 at his residence. He was born in Marion County, AL, was retired from General Motors and was a Captain with Alabama Charter Boat Co.
Services will be Saturday, February 29, 12 p.m. at Deaton Funeral Home Chapel, Red Bay, AL with Bro. Marshall Emerson officiating. Burial will be in Mt. Olive Cemetery, Hodges, AL. Deaton Funeral Home, Red Bay, AL will be in charge of arrangements.
He is survived by his wife – Angie Evans, Vina, AL; three children – Robert Evans, Ronnie Evans and Deanna Perkins (Russ); three step-sons – Bobby Ashley (Sherry), Jonah Greathouse and Joshua Greathouse; a step-daughter – Nellie Moore; six grandchildren – Mariah, Amber, Daniel, Jared, Robbie and Michael; seven great-grandchildren; a host of step-grandchildren and step-great-grandchildren; two sisters – Delora Bishop and Patricia Cole and one brother – Charles “Red” Evans.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Ernest and Zellar Emerson Evans, his first wife, Paulette Whitlock, his second wife, Donna Marie Evans and a sister, Mary Lou Scott.
Pallbearers will be Dan Young, Jared White, Craig Baker, Robert Evans, Jr., Bobby Ashley and Jonah Greathouse.
Visitation will be Friday, February 28, 6-9 p.m. at Deaton Funeral Home, Red Bay, AL.
