Red Bay Police are searching for a suspect wanted by multiple agencies who ran his pickup through road construction on Golden Road this morning.
According to Police Chief Janna Jackson, officers from her department are looking for the driver of a gold GMC Sonoma pickup, who has been identified as Charles Coleman Poores, 30, of Thorn Road in Itawamba County. By mid-afternoon multiple law enforcement agencies were still involved in the search for Poores, who is believed to have outstanding felony warrants from two other agencies and now is facing charges in Red Bay.
If any one knows his location they are urged to contact the Red Bay Police Department at 256-356-4455.
Poores is alleged to have ignored a road block this morning in Red Bay and drove through the construction. He then proceeded to flee from police and drive to State Line Road in Itawamba County, where he ditched the truck and fled on foot.
