Rosie Ann Lawhorn


TISHOMINGO, MS – Rosie Ann Lawhorn, 66, passed away Friday, May 24, 2019, at Magnolia Regional Health Center in Corinth, MS. She was born in Alabama to James and Rosie Boyd Alexander.  She was a member of Provision Ministry in Iuka, MS.

Services will be Saturday, June 1, 2 p.m. at Deaton Funeral Home Chapel, Belmont, MS with Sister Wanda Keele and Justin Alexander officiating. Burial will be in Carters Branch Cemetery, Tishomingo, MS. Deaton Funeral Home, Belmont, MS will be in charge of arrangements.

She is survived by five daughters-Amanda Darlene Patterson (Anthony), Amorita Dawn Lawhorn, Lee Ann Lawhorn, Erica Nicole Lawhorn Nelson (Anthony) and Brittany Desiree Lawhorn King; eight grandchildren-Tonishia Roseanna Nicollette Oliver (Dallon William Oliver), Antonio Devante Gleendale Lee Patterson, Anthony Destin Cameron Patterson, Aliza Rose Lawhorn, Devon Lee Nelson, Gabriel Christian-Edward King, Nevaeh April-Rose King and Abby Toni-Sueanne Michelle King; three great-grandchildren-Sydney Rose Oliver, Kolton William Oliver and Kaiden Lee Oliver; four sisters-Velma Alexander, Johnnie Luster (Michael), Annie Cook (Michael) and Cassandra Blackmore (Jeffrey) and three brothers-Larry Alexander, Jessie Alexander and Willie Alexander (Mary Catherine).

She was preceded in death by her husband-Jimmy Lee Lawhorn; her parents and two sisters-Teresa Alexander Miller and Bernell Alexander.

Pallbearers will be Phillip Allen, R.J. Woodruff, Cameron Patterson, Devante Patterson, Dallon Oliver, Malik Alexander, Keith Alexander, Anthony Patterson and Anthony Nelson.Visitation will be Friday, May 31, 6-9 p.m. at Deaton Funeral Home, Belmont, MS.
