Motorcycle wreck injures Vina man

A Saturday afternoon collision between a motorcycle and automobile has left a Vina man seriously injured.

According to Senior Trooper Johnathan Appling, at approximately 1:15 p.m. Timothy Dale Fowler, of Vina, received serious injuries when his 2000 Harley Davidson motorcycle collided with a 2016 Chrysler Town and Country driven by Marie Shewbart Shotts, also of Vina. The accident happened on Hwy. 24 near the County Road 23 intersection. Fowler was transported to Red Bay Hospital by Keller Ambulance, but was then later transferred to Huntsville Hospital.

Members of the community have launched a Go Fund Me account to assist the Fowler family with the medical bills and income. Fowler’s wife, Lynda, has been confined to a hospital following an unrelated surgical procedure and unable to travel to Huntsville to be with Tim.
