RED BAY, AL – Lillian King Kent, 101, went home to be with the Lord on Tuesday, May 2, 2017 at her residence. She was born in Bethany, Missouri in 1915 and was a homemaker. She was a member of First United Methodist Church of Red Bay, Al.
Services will be Thursday, May 4, 1 p.m. at Deaton Funeral Home Chapel, Red Bay, Al. with Bro. Tommy Brooks officiating. Burial will be in Ridge Cemetery, Golden, Ms. Deaton Funeral Home, Red Bay, Al. will be in charge of arrangements.
She is survived by nieces and nephews and great-nieces and great-nephews.
She was preceded in death by her husband, C.D. Kent, her parents, Samuel E. and Myrtle Linville King, six brothers and two sisters.
Pallbearers will be Tommy Brooks, Patrick Brooks, Billy Bolton, Dexter Bostick, Bro. David Kelley and Harold Entrekin. Honorary pallbearers will be Earl Paden and Bill Nabers.Visitation will be Thursday, May 4, 11 a.m. – 1 p.m. at Deaton Funeral Home, Red Bay, Al.
