RED BAY, AL. – Willa Mae Mathews, 91, died Monday, August 15, 2016 at the Red Bay Hospital. She was born in Alabama and was a homemaker. She was a member of Red Bay Freewill Baptist Church.
Services will be Thursday, August 18, at 12:30 p.m. at Red Bay Freewill Baptist Church with Bro. Steve Lindsay and Bro. David Corum officiating. Burial will be in Pilot Hill Cemetery, Vina, Al. Deaton Funeral Home, Red Bay, Al. will be in charge of arrangements.
Survivors are four nieces – Glenda Baggett, Karen Tilford, Tammy Howell and Sandy Robinson; two nephews – Terry Mathews and Terry Baggett and a brother – Rev. Lowell Baggett.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Cecil Mathews and her parents, Elbert Baggett and Nonnie Armstrong Baggett.
Pallbearers will be David Corum, Jeremy Robinson, Robert Newell, Jeff Madden and Dr. Stephen Ray.Visitation will be Thursday, August 18, 11 a.m.-12:30 p.m. at Red Bay Freewill Baptist Church.
