Johnnie Mae Vinson


Johnnie Mae Vinson, of Waukegan, Ill., died Monday, December 31, 1990, at St. Therese Hospital in Waukegan. She was native of Arkansas. Services were held Thursday, January 3, 1991, at Deaton Funeral Home Chapel with Rev. David Wright officiating. Burial followed in Mt. Zion Cemetery. Survivors include two daughters, Janice Castillo of Waukegan and Lola Reeves of Nettleton, MS., one son, Hershel Vinson of Belmont; two sisters, Charles Rae of Dallas, TX, and Melba Cox of Fulton, MS.; one brother, James Box of Fulton; her step-mother, Dora Rupie of Amory, MS., one stepson, Bobby Vinson of Waukegan; one stepdaughter, Kathlene Bowen of Zion, Ill.’ Three stepsisters, Doris Dean, Patty Hester and Joyce Daniels, all of Amory; five stepbrothers, Horace Box and Elmer Box, both of Blytheville, Ark., Calvin ox, Donald Boxand Gray Box, all of Amory; seven grandchildren; four step-grandchildren.
