Mrs. Mary Evelyn Bostick, age 85, of Red Bay, died Thursday, March 5, at 9 a.m. in the Red Bay Nursing Home.
Mrs. Bostick was the widow of Isom Bostick. She was a member of the Baptist Church.
Funeral services were held Friday, March 6, at 2 p.m. from the Dean Deaton Funeral Home Chapel in Red Bay with the Rev. Coye Marbutt and Rev. Albert Hamilton officiating.
Burial was in the Ridge Cemetery with Dean Deaton Funeral Home in charge of the arrangements.
Survivors are one daughter, Mrs. Retha Mae Hamm; one son, James Bostick, both of Red Bay; six sisters, Mrs. Mattie McNatt of Cherokee, Mrs. Ollie Hamm, Mrs. Simms all of Red Bay, Mrs. Lena Cruse, Vertie Mae Pounders of Florence, and Mrs. Edna Houser of Decatur; one son, Willie Deaton of Florence, nine grandchildren and 8 great grandchildren.
Pallbearers were Wayne Barker, Jack Bostick, Randy Seahorn, Frankie Collum, James Bostick and Marvin Saint.
